Prick surface with fork and bake in mold 30 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in mold 15 minutes. Let shortbread pans cool before washing up in the sink or dishwasher. Spray 10 inch ceramic shortbread mold with nonstick cooking spray.

Using a thin sharp knife slice the warm shortbread into serving pieces as soon as you remove it from the pan. Bake the shortbread in the ceramic pan let it cool for 10 minutes then remove your shortbread cut it into wedges while still warm. Using a sharp knife cut shortbread into wedges. Using two butter knives or a pastry blender cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

We tried to find shortbread molds made in scotland but couldn t so we. Loosen edges of shortbread with tip of knife and flip mold over onto cooling rack. Carefully re invert turning mold onto sheet. Beat until well blended.

Note for cookies press dough in mold and bake flowing recipe directions. It should use real butter and not be too sweet. Using plastic wrap press dough into an 8 inch shortbread mold coated with cooking spray. Press dough firmly into mold.

Prick all over with a wooden skewer. All shortbread pans are lead free and made in the usa. I have been to england three times and real shortbread is a favorite.
